2026 WCQ: Super Eagles Hold First Training In Polokwane

The Super Eagles held their first official training session in Polokwane ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixture against Lesotho on Tuesday, NEWSUNPLUG reports.

17 players took part in the session supervised by head coach Eric Chelle.

The players, and their officials were in boisterous mood as they gear up for the crucial matchday nine encounter.

Meanwhile, Brentford of England defender, Benjamin Fredrick has linked up with his teammates in camp.

Fredrick arrived the team’s Ranch Hotel base after Tuesday’s training session.

Five more players are now being expected in camp.

The Super Eagles will be up against Lesotho at the Peter Mokaba Stadium, Polokwane on Friday.
