Senator Shehu Sani has tackled “ saintly ” presidential candidates who are failing to visit Islamic clerics with “mass followership.”

In a post shared on Facebook, Sani said the ruling party is visiting these Islamic clerics and getting their endorsements, while other presidential candidates are sleeping at home or spending time on social media, waiting for people like these clerics to vote or endorse them. He said such acts is the height of political foolishness.
