51 street traders and miscreants arrested during raid in Ikoyi and environs (video)

At least 51 street traders and miscreants were arrested during a clearance operation on Tuesday night, Dec. 10, by the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps.

This was disclosed in a statement on Wednesday, Dec. 11, by the state Commissioner for the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab.

Wahab said the clearance operation took place in Mosley Street, Alexander Street, Ikoyi, and surrounding areas.

He added that the operation is in a bid to maintain law and order in the state.
