The Interim Management Committee (IMC) has presented a sum of N200 million to all the 20 clubs in the Nigeria Professional Football League.

The clubs will get N10 million each as a take-off grant ahead of the 2022/23 NPFL season.

The IMC has adopted an abridged format for the new campaign.

The new season will kick off on Sunday with one game, Akwa United versus Bendel Insurance, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.

The other nine fixtures will be played a week later.

Rivers United won the title last season.
