A Nigerian lawyer, Akomas Victoria, has shared the story of her experience with police officers at the Maroko Police station in Lago state where she went to report a case of robbery.

In a series of tweets, Victoria said she was robbed by ”one-chance bus” criminals on January 5, who stole her phone stolen, and pushed out of the bus.

Victoria said she went to the police to report the incident and that to her surprise, the officers allegedly asked her to pay N50,000 to help her track her phone and also mobilization money to help retrieve the phone wherever it will be found.

She said that an officer described the incident even before she spoke and also told her he knew those behind the act. She claimed the officer called one of the criminals named Prince.
