Arsenal target Raphinha has no interest in joining Mikel Arteta’s side before the end of the January transfer window, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Raphinha has made it clear that he does not want to join the Gunners as he looks to fight for his place at Barcelona in the coming months.

It had been suggested that the Brazilian winger could be on the ongoing January transfer market after a difficult first six months at Camp Nou since joining the LaLiga giants from Leeds United.

Arsenal legend Paul Merson had also backed the Gunners to sign Raphinha after missing out on Mykhailo Mudryk to Chelsea.

But Raphinha seemingly intends to prove he can be a regular starter at Barcelona under manager Xavi Hernández’s side despite the possibility of a return to the Premier League with in-form Arsenal.
