Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, said he will speak to Erling Haaland and Riyad Mahrez after they both dragged the ball over a penalty against Aston Villa on Sunday.
The champions were already two goals up thanks to Rodri and Ilkay Gundogan, before the spot kick was awarded.
Mahrez and Haaland appeared to argue over who will take it before the Algerian winger placed the ball and extended City’s lead.
When asked about the incident after the game, Guardiola revealed the hierarchy of penalty-takers in his squad.
He said: “I don’t know, I need to talk to them.
“Normally Erling [Haaland] is the first taker and Riyad [Mahrez] is the second one.
“Rodri was involved so we will see what they say tomorrow.”
