The Executive Chairman of Calabar South Local Government Area of Cross River State, Honorable Esther Bassey is dead.
Mrs. Bassey is said to have passed on in the early hours of Friday 24th February 2023, less than 24 hours before the Presidential and National Assembly elections.
The cause of her death is yet to be ascertained as of press time.
