Chelsea boss, Graham Potter has said that striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is in contention to feature for the Blues in their Premier League London derby against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Aubameyang has not been named in Chelsea’s last three Premier League squads.
The Gabonese star was also left out of Chelsea’s Champions League squad at the end of January.
When asked about the prospect of Aubameyang returning to the Chelsea squad against Tottenham this weekend, Potter said that the former Arsenal captain was ‘available for selection’.
“He is competing for a place in the squad. Good response to the situation we have been in.
“He is available for selection,” Potter said at his pre-match press conference.
