A yet-to-be-identified woman has been found dead along Gboko road in Makurdi, the Benue State capital.
It was gathered that the lady’s body was found dumped at an empty land near a hotel on Monday morning, February 27, 2023.
The latest incident comes a few days after the corpse of a missing Benue State University student, Erekaa Dooshima Naomi, was found buried in a shallow grave opposite the school.
Benue activist, Ukan Kurugh, who confirmed the incident, called on the police to unravel the people behind the abduction and murder of women in Makurdi.
“There is a corpse of young lady found dead at an empty land before Kyabiz hotel and Judges Qtrs along gboko road. This is becoming worrisome as just last week a lady was killed and buried in a shallow grave. The security will have to move fast to these killing to unravel the people behind it.” he said.
