Arsenal legend, Paul Merson has said he would not be surprised if January signing Jorginho decides to leave the club almost immediately.
Jorginho made a surprise switch from Chelsea to Arsenal on the January transfer deadline day.
He signed an 18-month contract after ending his four-year association with Chelsea.
The 31-year-old Italy International has made a promising start to his career at the Emirates Stadium
Merson believes Jorginho could be on the move this summer.
“Jorginho might not even be there next season, I wouldn’t be surprised if he left this summer but it doesn’t matter.
“It’s just the way Arsenal are thinking, they’re doing everything they can to maximise their chances of success”
