The presidential election results has been generating controversies from different quarters. Many Nigerians didn’t expect Bola Ahmed Tinubu to win as the youths massively supported Peter Obi.

As a result of this some religious leaders especially pastors have been throwing jabs at BAT, claiming that the election was rigged.

In reaction to this, controversial on-air media personality and former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has chided Nigerian pastors talking down Tinubu’s win.

He stated that if Peter Obi had won the election and Imams were saying the type of things pastors are saying about the election results it would instigate trouble in the country.

He said;

“The #NigerianElections2023 made me realise that Nigerian Muslims  are often more tolerant than Nigerian Christians. Because if Obi had been declared President-elect by INEC and Imams start saying the types of things some pastors are saying, Nigeria will be on fire!.”
