Napoli head coach, Luciano Spalletti has praised Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen’s new-found heading ability, describing him as one of the best headers in the sport.
Osimhen has recorded some incredible headed goals including the midweek strike against Eintracht Frankfurt in the UEFA Champions League and the weekend goals in the 4-0 away thrashing of Torino.
He stated,
“As for Victor Osimhen’s brace, his heading ability is phenomenal, be it attacking the near post or climbing high at the far post.”
“He’s like a two-headed dragon. Once again he showed his quality, not just as a forward but as an all-round footballer. He’s a really generous player.”
Spalletti who also hailed his entire players for their insatiable desire to lift the Serie A title at record time , opined that Osimhen is showing the ability of a complete striker.
He added,
“I like to extol the virtues of all of my players. If we take a look at the third goal Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s touch and Mathias Olivera’s ball to Osimhen stand out, but it all came from a great intervention by Giovanni Di Lorenzo. Giovanni played a blinder today.”
