Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has said that it was wrong to compare youngster Alejandro Garnacho to Al-Nassr superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 18-year-old Garnacho has emerged as one of the rising talents at Old Trafford since joining from Atletico Madrid for £420,000 in 2020.

He has made a couple appearances for the Red Devils under Erik ten Hag and has shown his abilities on the pitch with his electric performances on the wings.

Saha was asked on Betfred about Garnacho being likened to a young Ronaldo. Lauding the winger, he responded:

“I can see in his [Garnacho]eyes that he wants to perform, however you can’t compare anybody with Cristiano Ronaldo. There’s no comparison at all.

“Cristiano is a lion and no disrespect to Garnacho, but if he can be half as good as Cristiano, then that’s absolutely fine.”
