Chelsea co-owner, Todd Boehly, has reacted to the sacking of Graham Potter as the club’s manager.
Chelsea, on Sunday night, announced that Potter had been discharged from his duty at Stamford Bridge.
Potter’s sacking comes after Chelsea’s Premier League 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa at home.
Reacting, Boehly said he was disappointed that the club sacked Potter.
Boehly, alongside his co-controlling owner Behdad Eghbali was quoted by Chelsea’s official website as saying: “On behalf of everyone at the club, we want to thank Graham sincerely for his contribution to Chelsea.
“We have the highest degree of respect for Graham as a coach and as a person. He has always conducted himself with professionalism and integrity and we are all disappointed in this outcome.”
