Manchester United legend, Neville has slammed Kai Havertz for wasting most of Chelsea’s chances to beat Liverpool in the Premier League on Tuesday night.
The Blues were not able to score despite creating a lot of opportunities in their first game since sacking Graham Potter.
Chelsea outplayed the Reds at Stamford Bridge but continued to struggle in front of goal.
Croatian midfielder, Mateo Kovacic failed to convert two great chances, but it was Havertz who most notably squandered multiple opportunities to put the west London side ahead.
“He had a long time to set himself and it was an uncomfortable watch to see him put it across the goal like that.
“Havertz needed to score the first time. He didn’t do anything right – he just ran straight at Alisson,” Neville said on Sky Sports.
