Odion Ighalo is in the running for the West Asia Player of the Month for March.
Ighalo was on target four times for his Saudi Arabia Professional League side, Al Hilal during the month.
The 33-year-old scored a goal each against Al-Wehda FC and Ettifaq FC as well as a brace against Al-Taawoun.
Al Ittihad of Saudi Arabia forward, Abdul Razzaq Hamdallah; Federico Cartabia, who plays for UAE side, Shaban Al-Ahly; and Michael Olunga, who plays for Al-Duhai of Qatar; are also nominated for the award.
Other nominees are; Ali Adawi (Shabab Al-Dhahiriya Palestinian), Muhammad Daham (Al-Nasr Kuwaiti) and Ernest Barfo (Bahrain Sitra).
Ighalo netted a brace in Al Hilal’s 2-0 win against Al-Feiha on Wednesday night.
The Nigerian is currently the top scorer in the Saudi League with 16 goals from 18 games.
