No fewer than three persons have been declared missing when a boat conveying passengers to a local market capsized in Dampar village in Ibi Local Government Area of Taraba State.
The incident occurred on Thursday, April 6, 2023, when the boat hit a tree under the water.
The council’s caretaker chairman, Bala Bako, who confirmed the incident and said three persons were missing while several occupants of the ill-fated boat were rescued.
