Former Premier League star, Mark Lawrenson has said there is no way Liverpool would come out victorious against Arsenal when both sides clash in the Premier League at the weekend.

He said the Reds are not the team they used to be and could hardly play well for 45 minutes at this moment.

This weekend, Liverpool welcomes Arsenal at Anfield, which used to be a fortress, in what is expected to be one of the standout matches for Gameweek 30.

Writing in his column on Paddy Power, Lawrenson said, “I very rarely tip Liverpool to get beat but I just can’t see them beating Arsenal. They can’t even play well for 45 minutes at the moment.”

According to Lawrenson, who is a former Liverpool player, the team’s last game against Chelsea spoke volumes about the state that the Reds are in.
