Napoli manager, Luciano Spalletti has confirmed Victor Osimhen will start against AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League next week Tuesday.

Osimhen returned to action for the Partenopei in the 0-0 draw against Hellas Verona on Saturday night.

The 24-year-old missed the first leg of the quarter-final defeat to AC Milan at the San Siro in midweek due to a muscle injury.

“He’ll start, yes. Osimhen has this physicality and speed, you can throw the ball up to him and he can protect it, use his head or use a change of pace, he has so many different alternatives. He is a hero of these fans now, so there is always a wave of enthusiasm around him,” Spalletti told a press conference after the game against Verona.

The Nigerian has also already scored four goals in five outings in the Champions League this season.

Napoli need to score two goals without conceding to scale through to the semi-finals.
