Arsenal legend Perry Groves has told Real Madrid to ensure they are well-prepared to face Manchester City in their UEFA Champions League semi-final clash.
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City will travel to Spain for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final on Tuesday, May 9, before welcoming Los Blancos at the Etihad.
Manchester City have high hopes of winning the Champions League, the FA Cup and the Premier League this season.
The Citizens thrashed Premier League rivals, Arsenal 4-1 in a crucial title decider on Wednesday night, and after watching Pep Guardiola’s side demolish Mikel Arteta’s men, Groves sent a message to Real Madrid, describing the Manchester-based club as the best in the world.
“It sends a message to Real Madrid as well. City are the best team in Europe right now,” he told talkSPORT.
“It could’ve been seven or eight. It was a complete and utter lesson.”
