Arsenal legend, Patrick Vieira, has said that the Gunners would win the Premier League title in the future if the current squad manage to stick together.

Arsenal currently sit top of the Premier League table with two points ahead of Man City, who sit in second position.

Man City, meanwhile, have two games in hand after beating Arsenal 4-1 on Wednesday at Etihad Stadium.

“I believe Mikel [Arteta] and his staff deserve a lot of credit. Because this is a really young team – really talented, but still really young,” Vieira told BT Sport before Man City’s win over Arsenal.

“When you are looking at the problems from last year, it is really positive for the future. I believe this team, if they manage to stick together, they will grow. The future is ahead of them and they will win the title.

“They’re progressing and I believe that they are really close.
