Kalidou Koulibaly has hailed his Chelsea teammate, Thiago Silva, saying he is a lucky man to be played alongside the veteran Brazilian.
The Senegal national team captain said he would like it if he could steal the experience of Silva.
When compared to his form at Napoli, it could be easily concluded that Koulibaly has flopped since his summer move to Stamford Bridge from the Serie A side.
Koulibaly, 31, left Napoli for Chelsea last summer after the Blues agreed to pay a fee of around £33 million.
But it has not been easy for him in the Premier League despite his wealth of experience as Chelsea languish in 11th position in the Premier League and have crashed out of every other competition.
“I would steal the experience of Thiago Silva,” he told Goal.
“I’m lucky to play with him today, he’s a really good defender, a legend for everybody in football.
“At 37, to do what he’s doing is really amazing. For me, it would be nice if I could steal his experience.”
