Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has blamed the strikers for their recent poor run of form.
Manchester United are now struggling to finish top four after finding themselves in a comfortable situation about fortnights ago.
Fernandes lamented that the Red Devils are ‘not capable of scoring a goal’ after they went down 1-0 to West Ham United at the weekend.
It was Manchester United’s second defeat in a successive game which has allowed Liverpool to close the gap to just one point behind the Red Devils.
The Red Devils have failed to score in back-to-back matches, managing just three goals in their last six matches in all competitions.
Fernandes bemoaned the poor finishing of the side as the reason for the side’s downturn in form.
“We are not capable of scoring a goal, we create so many chances but are not ruthless enough,” said Fernandes.
“We conceded an unlucky goal and lost the game.”
“It is probably one of our worst seasons on scoring goals. We are not taking our chances.”
