Jorge Mendes, the football agent of Premier League star Joao Cancelo, has offered the Manchester City defender to Real Madrid.
According to El Nacional, Mendes, a former agent of Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo, has offered Cancelo to Real Madrid despite previously offering him to Barcelona.
The Portuguese defender is currently on loan at Bayern Munich from Man City.
Cancelo left the Premier League champions in January after a reported fallout with manager Pep Guardiola.
While he looks set to return to Manchester City in the summer, his future is uncertain as he is likely to be sold by Guardiola’s side.
However, Mendes, who had previously offered Cancelo to Barcelona, recently presented their arch-rivals, Real Madrid, with the opportunity to sign him.
Real Madrid are keen to reinforce their full-back positions as Dani Carvajal is not the player that he used to be and back-up right-back Alvaro Odriozola looks set to leave Santiago Bernabeu in the summer.
Hence, Cancelo could slot in easily at Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
