Former Tottenham Hotspur forward, Darren Bent, has said that he would be gutted to see Arsenal midfielder, Granit Xhaka, leave the North London club this summer.

Xhaka is set to leave Arsenal after it was reported that the Swiss has reached an agreement to join Bayer Leverkusen at the end of the season.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Bent said, “I will be pretty gutted about that because you said there he has been exceptional.

“Certainly, the way he is improved in that more advanced role, I think that suits him more. I will be gutted to see him leave.”

Xhaka has started 34 matches for Mikel Arteta’s side in the Premier League this season, scoring five goals and registering seven assists
