Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Anthony Martial stormed down the tunnel after he was substituted in their 1-0 win over Bournemouth on Saturday.
Ten Hag however said the Frenchman later returned to the bench to join his teammates.
Martial failed to get on the scoresheet, as he was picked in Marcus Rashford’s absence at the Vitality Stadium.
Ten Hag decided to take off Martial on the hour mark, replacing him with Wout Weghorst.
Martial left the pitch looking bemused and headed straight down the tunnel.
Ten Hag told talkSPORT: “I think he played well, he returned to the bench, he’s OK.
“I think he just shot into the dressing room, I don’t know what you want to make from it.”
