Barcelona have reportedly identified Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva as one of the players to sign should they fail to bring back their former captain Lionel Messi to Camp Nou this summer.
Barcelona have started thinking about their ‘Plan B’ if a move for Messi does not happen as the La Liga champions see Silva as the one to go for in the summer, as per Spanish journalist Gerard Romero.
Manchester City are reportedly open to selling Silva and are demanding €80million for the Portugal international.
Silva has admitted that he wants a new challenge and told the media earlier this month, “My plan is to complete the season well, win the Premier League and then the two finals… then, this summer, we will see what happens.”
Silva joined Man City from AS Monaco back in 2017.
