The Senate has granted the request of President Bola Tinubu to appoint 20 special advisers.

The President had earlier sent a letter to the Senate asking for approval for the appointment of the Special Advisers. Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, read the letter on the floor of the upper legislative chamber during plenary today June 6.

The lawmakers approved the request. However, President Tinubu did not list the names of the 20 special advisers.
