An Ireland-based Nigerian engineer, has narrated how a former class mate single-shamed her after she posted a nice photo of herself on WhatsApp.

“I posted a nice photo of myself on WhatsApp, a class mate of mine who’s married with 2 kids viewed my status and immediately posted “You’re not going to be young forever, a woman’s value is tied to her family and husband. Make the right choice,” she tweeted on Monday, June 19.

“I have been nothing but supportive since she got married and even called to congratulate her when she put to bed, so I don’t know where this is coming from. Lol people are strange indeed.”
