Football transfer journalist, Rory Jennings has slammed Arsenal supporters for showing Granit Xhaka some love as the Swiss depart the north London side this summer.
Jennings said he cannot understand the love from the fans to the player, who, according to him, did an unforgivable thing against the Gunners.
The fans have been branded ‘baffling’ for their feelings towards the midfielder.
The Switzerland international left the Gunners for Bayer Leverkusen in a £20 million deal on Thursday.
It sparked a widespread outpouring of emotion from the club and its supporters, who largely wished Xhaka well.
