Victor Osimhen has demanded that Napoli double his salary for him to sign a new contract.

Osimhen currently earns around €4 million at the club but now wants to be paid at least €7 million, according to several reports.

Napoli have also demanded to insert a hefty €200 million release clause on the new contract.

Napoli’s president recently stated that the 24-year-old has agreed to extend his contract by two years.

Osimhen’s current contract will run out in 2025.

The striker played a key role in Napoli winning its first league title in 33 years last season.

The Nigerian scored 26 goals to emerge as the topscorer in Serie A.

Top clubs like PSG, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Chelsea have been linked with the player.
