Former Chelsea midfielder, Jason Cundy has advised Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips to leave the Etihad and join Liverpool.
Cundy believes Phillips would get into the Reds’ starting XI ahead of Alexis Mac Allister, who joined the Reds from Brighton.
“Does he (Phillips) get into Liverpool’s team? Mac Allister hasn’t been great, has he?! He (Phillips) could get into Liverpool’s team.
“He has to leave Man City now,” Cundy said on talkSPORT (as quoted by HITC).
Phillips has played just 26 games across competitions since joining Man City from Leeds United for £45 million last year.
The 27-year-old has started just five times, including thrice in the domestic cups.
His other two starts came in the league, which came after Pep Guardiola’s side had wrapped up last season’s Premier League title.
