Nigeria forward, Gift Orban, has lashed out at his Belgian Pro League club, KAA Gent and threatened to move elsewhere if manager Hein Vanhaezebrouck does not give him more playing time.
Orban recently lost his place in the Gent’s team following a barren spell in front of goal.
The 22-year-old scored for the second consecutive game after coming off the bench in Gent’s 3-0 victory against Sporting Charleroi on Sunday night.
The Nigeria international has started six out of 13 league games for the Buffalos this season.
“I am not a player who gains confidence when he comes on,” Orban told Het Nieuwsblad.
“I am a player who starts and must be able to grow in a match. A club cannot destroy my career. I keep working. If it doesn’t work here, go somewhere else.”
The 21-year-old joined Gent from Norwegian second division club, Staebek in January.
