Napoli manager, Walter Mazzarri has said he will make a decision on whether to start or play Victor Osimhen from the bench in Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League clash with Real Madrid.

Osimhen came off the bench to inspire Napoli to a 2-1 win at Atalanta last weekend after missing the Serie A champions’ previous six games due to a hamstring injury.

Mazzarri claimed he will make a decision on how to use the Nigerian striker on the eve of the game.

“Let’s wait until tomorrow. I need to talk to everyone. He (Osimhen )certainly doesn’t have 90 minutes in his legs, we’ll see if he starts or comes off the bench,” Mazarri told a press conference.

“We will try to secure our place in the Round of 16 tomorrow, otherwise we cannot get the final game wrong.”

The 24-year-old has made two appearances for Napoli in the Champions League this season.

The Partenopei need a win to book their passage in the Round of 16.
