Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes has insisted that striker, Rasmus Hojlund will be disappointed with his performance against Liverpool on Sunday.
Scholes also said that he was delighted with the spirit Man United showed in their goalless draw with Liverpool at Anfield.
Hojlund missed Manchester United’s best chance against Liverpool as both teams shared a point each after full-time.
The Denmark international fired his shot straight at the chest of Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker.
“I thought they did well and stood up to everything Liverpool threw at them really,” Scholes told Premier League Productions.
“I thought watching the game they were very comfortable. There was nothing really clear cut and they could have nicked that game in the end.
“Hojlund had the best chance of the game and didn’t score. We know he’s not got a Premier League goal yet and he needs to tidy up that finishing side of his game.
“They are key moments that can change his career as a Manchester United centre forward so far.
“Scoring a winning goal at Anfield is a big thing to do so he will be a little bit disappointed with his all round performance.”
