A Pennsylvania woman allegedly facilitated the sickening r@pe of a 7-year-old girl and filmed the abuse before showing it to another child, prosecutors said Tuesday, Jan. 23.
Ariel Hiestand, 33, was hit with a dozen charges, including rape, for her alleged involvement in the horrid sexual assault carried out by accused pervert Edward L. Williams, who was arrested last week.
Hiestand allegedly pressured the 7-year-old victim into the assault perpetrated by 54-year-old Williams, capturing it on film, the Lebanon County District Attorney’s Office said, according to PennLive.com.
The abuse happened the night of January 14 into the next morning, prosecutors alleged.
Hiestand then showed video of Williams sexually abusing the girl to another child, the district attorney’s office alleged.
Hiestand confessed to the disturbing accusations when talking with detectives, prosecutors alleged
“Hiestand was later interviewed by members of the Lebanon County Detective Bureau and admitted that the child in fact had disclosed to her that she was being abused by Edward Williams and that she told the victim that she needed to allow him to abuse her again,” prosecutors said, the Lebanon Daily News reported.
She’s also facing involuntary deviant sexual intercourse with a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child and endangering the welfare of a child, as well as child porn charges, the newspaper reported.
She was arrested Friday, Jan. 19, just days after Williams was arrested and charged with rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child and two other related felony counts, Pennlive.com reported.
Williams was taken into custody after authorities saw video of the abuse, according to prosecutors.
The young victim told a nurse that Williams would inappropriately touch her when the pair would have movie nights together, the DA’s office said.
A second child informed police that while Williams would creepily rub her arms and legs, he didn’t rape her because he knew she would alert authorities, prosecutors said.
