A South African man has gone on X to lament after his country lost to Nigeria at the AFCON semi-final game.

After the match on Wednesday, Feb. 7, South Africans on the social media platform X joined X Spaces to chat about the match.

One South African who spoke is heard complaining bitterly about South Africa’s defeat.

He said: “My heart is broken because we had chances. You know, we should have won the game. Nigeria were lucky. We were poor in finishing, you know.

“You know, this game, I really wanted to win it because a Nigerian guy took my girl, you know. Now he took my joy as well. I have nothing left. Amanpiano belongs to Nigeria now. All the girls belong to Nigeria. They took everything. We are naked right now, the South Africans, we got nothing, you know.”

His speech ends with him sobbing.
