Former Manchester United captain, Gary Neville, has said Aston Villa and Tottenham will be “feeling the pressure”, following the Red Devils’ 2-1 win at Luton Town on Sunday.
After the win, United boss, Erik ten Hag said his team were “back in the race” for the top four.
The result saw United narrow the gap on fifth-placed Tottenham to three points, after Spurs lost 2-1 at home to Wolves on Saturday.
Ten Hag’s side have now won four consecutive games to sit five points behind fourth-placed Villa.
Neville, speaking on Sky Sports, said: “You can feel Ten Hag is more confident in his team and that they’re in a better place.
“He’ll fancy hunting down Tottenham and Villa for the top four. They’ll be feeling the pressure.
“I’m not saying Man Utd will get there but there is a bit between their teeth.”
