Actor Yomi Fabiyi has continued to defend convicted r@pist Baba Ijesha as the latter serves his prison sentence.
Baba Ijesha was convicted and sentenced to five years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of popular comedian Princess.
Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, Fabiyi claimed that there is no evidence that Baba Ijesha slept with the girl. He said this is why the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment.
Fabiyi added that Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court.
He further stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit and this is when the actor was accused of raping Princess’ foster daughter. He said the girl also made a similar statement in court.
Fabiyi added that the man who slept with the girl is walking freely and that the girl wasn’t 14 at the time of the incident, as widely claimed.
