Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that English Premier League giants Chelsea have commenced their move to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli.

According to the transfer expert, the Blues have spoken to the agent of the Super Eagles forward about the possibility of moving to west London.

Chelsea are said to be one of the top European sides interested in signing the Nigerian international this summer.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side, however, faces stiff opposition from French Ligue 1 side PSG.

Osimhen, 25, is said to be more open to moving to the Premier League than a return to Ligue 1

And now Romano reveals that Chelsea have contacted Osimhen’s agent.

“They have a shortlist of players, maybe four or five names for each position but you still don’t know who is the top target but at the end of the day, you are already speaking to agents to discuss opportunities,” he told Mics’ YouTube page.

“For example, Chelsea spoke to different agents for the striker position—the agents of Sesko, Osimhen, the agents of different players.”
