Fenerbahce presidential candidate, Aziz Yildirim, has claimed he has held talks with former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho.
Yildirim has now vowed to bring the Portuguese to the Turkish club if he is voted into power.
Mourinho has been out of work since January since he was dismissed at Roma.
The 61-year-old who has coached in Italy, England, Spain and Portugal could now try a new adventure.
“I met Jose Mourinho face to face last week.
“I told him: ‘Fenerbahce needs you and you need Fenerbahce.’ He listened to me sincerely.
“My friends are talking to his agents. If we win, I will bring Jose Mourinho,” Yildirim told reporters.
