Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, has set an ambitious target for his team ahead of the start of Euro 2024.

This is the sixth European Championship Ronaldo will be playing in and his desire to win is as strong as it was back in 2004.

The 39-year-old has a record number of international caps (207) and goals scored (130) and is expected to again be his country’s talisman.

Upon arrival in Marienfeld, Ronaldo stated his ambitions for the team.

“Semi-finals? I hope we can go further,” he stated.

“We must take it step by step, live in the moment, stay calm, and continue working hard. We know it’s a short competition, but the team is well-prepared.”
