France captain, Kylian Mbappe, would have to find a new mask if he is to play against the Netherlands at Euro 2024 on Friday.
Mbappe suffered a broken nose during their 1-0 victory over Austria on Monday.
The 25-year-old will have to wear a protective mask for the time being.
Mbappe returned to Les Bleus training on Thursday, wearing a blue-white-red mask.
But UEFA rules ban him from using the tricolour mask.
According to article 42 of the UEFA equipment regulations: “Medical equipment worn on the playing field must be of a single colour and must not allow the team or manufacturer to be identified.”
