Spain defender, Marc Cucurella says he wants England star, Cole Palmer to stay on the bench for both teams’ Euro 2024 final clash on Sunday.
Cucurella and Palmer are both club teammates at Chelsea.
Palmer made a great impact off the bench in England’s semi-final 2-1 victory over the Netherlands.
He gave the assist for Ollie Watkins’ 90th-minute winner against Netherlands.
“I spoke with him, but it was over a week ago. We talked for a while in the previous rounds,” Cucurella told Mundo Deportivo.
“For me, it’s much better if he doesn’t play and stays on the bench.”
