Watch a clip from the TV interview that might have cost Senator Ali Ndume his position as Senate Chief Whip

A clip from an interview Senator Ali Ndume granted that might have cost him his position as Chief Whip of the Senate, has made the rounds on social media.

LIB had earlier reported that Ndume was removed as Chief Whip. and replaced with Senator Tahir Monguno during plenary today July 17.

In a letter signed by the party’s national chairman, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and Secretary, Barrister Ajibola Bashiru, the national leadership of the ruling party, APC, asked Ndume to resign his membership of the party and join any opposition party of his choice over his comments against the Presidency.

In his interview with Arise, Ndume had decried the high cost of living as well as the food crisis being experienced nationwide. He also that some ministers have been denied access to the President since they assumed office.
