Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has reportedly asked the club’s president, Florentino Perez to sign Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal teammate Vitinha.
Vitinha has been one of the most exciting players in his position.
The midfielder featured for Portugal at Euro 2024 and also won the French Ligue 1 title with Paris Saint-Germain.
The 24-year-old played 46 games in all competitions for PSG, scoring nine goals and providing five assists.
His quality has not been ignored by Ancelotti, and according to El Nacional, the Italian gaffer wants him on his squad following Toni Kroos’ decision to retire from the game.
Kroos’ exit from Ancelotti’s side has left a spot open to be filled in Real Madrid’s midfield.
However, while players like Federico Valverde and Jude Bellingham are capable of filling in the gap, Ancelotti sees Vitinha as a better option.
Vitinha is expected to be valued above €50 million.
