Atlético Madrid and Chelsea are now in direct talks to sign midfielder Conor Gallagher for their manager, Diego Simeone.
This was disclosed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, in a tweet on his X account on Tuesday.
According to Romano, Gallagher is on Atletico Madrid’s top list this summer transfer window.
“Negotiations underway for package worth around €35/40m add-ons included, requested by Chelsea.
“Gallagher, on top of Atlético list as revealed in May — now getting closer,” Romano tweeted.
