Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has insisted that an approach from Saudi Arabia for Vinicius Jr is “pure speculation.”

According to Relevo, Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, PIF, have offered Vinicius Jr €1bn over five years.

They are willing to pay the 24-year-old €200 million per year if he quits the La Liga champions.

But Ancelotti, speaking on the eve of the Super Cup clash against Atalanta, claimed there is nothing in it.

He said: “I can guarantee that there’s nothing in it. It’s pure speculation.”
