Manchester United are likely to negotiate with Thomas Tuchel if they decide to make a managerial change, the UK Mirror reports.
Red Devils boss, Erik ten Hag, is feeling the heat after only three matches this season.
His team have suffered back-to-back defeats against Brighton and Liverpool, leaving them in 14th place after three fixtures.
Ten Hag faced a nervous wait in the summer to see if he would be retained, before the new United hierarchy opted to stick with him.
The former Ajax boss was also backed in the transfer market, as a couple of big-money signings have been brought in and his coaching staff reshuffled. One of the coaches brought in is former United striker, Ruud van Nistelrooy.
A lot of observers have claimed Van Nistelrooy could be next in line if Ten Hag leaves.
However, contingency plans have been drawn up by senior officials at Old Trafford should the worst case scenario play out with Tuchel the club’s ideal target.
